Our studio
London & Country Landscapes is a design-and-build studio for period homes across South West London and Surrey. We were founded by two people who had spent years delivering high-end gardens for other companies — and wanted to do it their own way, with one team drawing the garden and the same team building it, so nothing is lost between the idea and the result.
We take on a small number of projects at a time, because the work we care about — proper groundwork, honest materials, stonework that lasts — can't be rushed. The result is a garden that looks as though it has always belonged to the house.
The founders
Co-founder · Operations & Delivery
Oliver leads delivery and operations. Over recent years in landscaping he has overseen construction, maintenance and design teams on private garden projects ranging from £100,000 to well over £1 million — managing programme, budget and trades so that what's promised is what gets built. Before landscaping, a career in luxury British retail gave him an exacting eye for detail and a standard of service he carries onto every site. His job is a simple one: make sure the garden you're shown is the garden you get — on time, and built to last.
Co-founder · Craft & Build
Jaime leads on craft and build. Originally from Madrid, Spain, he moved to London ten years ago and has spent the last decade making gardens across the capital, with a particular feel for [planting and stonework]. He and Oliver met five years ago working together in London landscaping, and found they shared the same standard — and the same frustration with gardens designed by one team and built by another. How we work
One team, from the first drawing to the final planting — and for the years of maintenance after. It means no gap between what you're shown and what gets built, no finger-pointing between designer and contractor, and one company accountable for the whole garden.
